How you doing guys, My name is AKO 24 years old and live in Denver. I knew anime since I was a kid but in cosplaying I am new just started last year.

I know some basic sewing and basic crapting but not good enough in some other field............

I'm originally from Philippines and I been here for more than two year. I'm not fluent in ENGLISH so if some day you saw me posting here you can't understand, your welcome to correct me or ask me :D :D :D

Hi! Its a pleasure to have you. Where in the Philippeans are you from? I think you'll have a blast in this group as there are a bunch of awesome people here. I can't wait to meet you at one of the events. :D

Not a DCCS event, but the next planned activity is Anime Wasabi. A few people will be doing panels there.

It's nice to see people who are new to cosplaying (reminds me I'm not alone). Have you completed any yet? If so, what did you cosplay?

Jiraiya(Naruto) so far I completed costume.But now I'm working on Buccha AT uniform and casual Buccha(Air gear), Kei Kurono(Gantz) and Jiraiya(manga version). All of them is like 90% done.........

The costume weapon is killing me, dn't know what kind of material should I use. The first thing came out my mind is styrofoam *slump*

And don't forget Rem(deathnote) just started last week :oops:

I actually have no idea what to do next. A lot of people tell me it doesn't matter what you look like. If you ant to cosplay, cosplay. But I still don't have that mind set. I'm picky and I don't want to pic a blond character with pasty white skin and blue eyes when in real life I'm crazy tanned (naturally and sun) with black hair and brown eyes.

I also have this thing where if I'm going to cosplay someone, I have to watch that character's series or read the manga, etc. Nothing more embarassing then having someone call out your characters nickname and you not responding (my first cosplay ever).

Hi guys, its been a while I log in here and totally forgot my password so now I got new one that hard to remember. Look like my avatar is gone too.
I try to changes it for some reason I cannot find the option thing......Im hopeless....lol...(^,^)

The last time I heard about DCCS group is in NDK09 after that nothing.

I really love this DCCS group I hope you keep doing what you doing in cosplay world.......(*,^)

Yeah. It's been pretty quiet since, so I'm not sure what anyone is up to. I'm still debating on what to do for AL Wasabi. I bought my pass, but I'll be flying solo for Wasabi and that's made me lazy on what to plan for it. Will we be seeing you there?
